The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at St. Mary's Academy with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Verma, IPS, SP-Traffic, and the first lady, Mrs. Shilpa Verma. The ceremony commenced with pinning of the tricolour badge to the Chief guest and the impressive Guard of Honour presented by the Students' Cabinet. The chief guest and the first Lady to the ceremony were given the floral welcome by the Principal and the special memento with Shawl was also extended to the chief guest. The special salute was also extended by the students cabinet to the chief guest. The air was filled with patriotic fervor as students showcased their talents through soul-stirring patriotic songs and captivating patriotic dance performances. The highlight of the celebration was the eloquent speeches delivered by students, reflecting their deep love for the nation and its values. The event served as a platform for the young minds to express their gratitude and pride for the country's freedom struggle. The entire atmosphere resonated with patriotic spirit, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for a free India. The chief guest applauded the efforts of the Principal, staff and students towards organising the energetic and beautiful function. The Principal of the Academy, in her address, thanked the collective efforts of the staff and students. After the function, the sweets were given to all the attendees.
